




Agricultural Bank of the Philippines, Inc. (A Rural Bank), was incorporated in the Philippines on February 28, 1997.
The Bank started commercial operations on March 14, 1997, primarily to engage in the business of extending rural credit to small farmers and tenants and to deserving rural industries or enterprises; to do and perform all acts, and to transact all business which may legally be done by rural banks organized under and in accordance with Republic Act (RA) No. 7533 (Rural Banks Act of 1992) as it exists or may be amended; and to do all other things incidental thereto and necessary and proper in connection with said purposes within such territory, as may be determined by the Monetary Board (MB) of the BSP.
The Bank is subject to the laws and provisions embodied in the General Banking Law of 2000 (RANo. 8791) and the regulations promulgated by the BSP. The Bank’s principal place of business is 121 Don Placido Campos Avenue, Dasmariñas City, Cavite. In May 2022, the Bank has opened a new branch in Pulilan, Bulacan.

Mr. Tiu envisions #GREEN2030 a sustainable, green and environment-friendly ecosystem that would help provide Filipinos healthier, better and more efficient goods and services.
He was named one of the country's Ten Outstanding Young Men in 2011 and Ernst & Young's Emerging Entrepreneur in 2010.
He obtained his Master of Commerce at the University of New South Wales where he majored in International Finance. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in De La Salle University where he majored in Business Management and finished his primary and secondary school in Chiang Kai Shek College in the Philippines.









Agricultural Bank of the Philippines, Inc. (A Rural Bank) was established with the intent of catering to business and household customers in the countryside to promote food sufficiency and
contribute to increasing income, employment and production in the agricultural sector and the
Philippine economy as a whole. In line with this mission, the bank’s products and services are currently geared towards providing credit finance to the farm sector under the government’s Agri-Agra Lending Program, granting loans for Farm Equipment and Land Acquisition, and extending credit facilities for agri-producers and farmers, micro-businesses, (including barangay micro enterprises), housing, transport facilities such as motorcyles and other credits to eligible borrowers in the rural areas.
